Operating Principle
그만큼 피셔 EZR regulator operates on a pilot-operated balanced valve principle, providing precise pressure control through the following mechanism:
Closed Position (Normal State)
When the outlet (control) pressure is at or above the setpoint, the pilot plug or disk remains closed. Inlet pressure flows through the Type 112 restrictor (integrated in PRX series pilots) and combines with the main spring force to create downward loading pressure. This loading pressure keeps the main valve diaphragm and plug assembly tightly sealed against the seat.
Opening Cycle
When downstream demand causes the outlet pressure to drop below the pilot setpoint, the pilot plug or disk assembly opens. Loading pressure vents to downstream faster than it can be replenished through the restrictor, causing the loading pressure above the main diaphragm to decrease. The resulting pressure imbalance allows inlet pressure to overcome the loading pressure and main spring force, lifting the EZR diaphragm and plug assembly to open the flow path.
Closing Cycle
As outlet pressure rises toward the setpoint, pressure acting on the pilot diaphragm compresses the pilot spring, causing the pilot plug or disk to close. Loading pressure above the EZR diaphragm and plug assembly begins to increase. The combined force of loading pressure and the main spring pushes the diaphragm and plug assembly back onto the tapered seat, achieving tight shutoff.
