The Levelflex FMP50 is the fundamental guided wave radar (GWR) sensor designed specifically for basic liquid level applications. It operates on the Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle, where high-frequency radar pulses are guided along a probe (rod or rope). By measuring the time it takes for the pulse to reflect off the liquid surface and return to the transmitter, the device calculates the exact level.
