• High-Temperature Shutoff: By employing multiple graphite piston rings, the ED can maintain Class IV shutoff at temperatures reaching 593°C (1100°F). For even tighter requirements, the optional C-seal trim enables Class V shutoff at these same extreme temperatures.

• Advanced Emission Control: The valve is compatible with ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing systems, featuring live-loaded PTFE or Graphite ULF. These systems provide a superior stem seal that minimizes the loss of process fluid and reduces routine maintenance requirements.

• Hardened Stainless Steel Trim: Standard hardened stainless steel trim provides exceptional wear resistance against erosion and cavitation, ensuring a longer service life in demanding steam or hydrocarbon service.

• Global Standard Compliance: The ED series is available in dimensions specified by EN/DIN standards and offers optional materials to meet NACE MR0103 and NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour gas and corrosive environments.
