Ưu điểm kỹ thuật quan trọng
Angle Body Geometry: The EAS features a 90-degree body design that can replace a piping elbow, saving space and reducing the number of joints. In erosive services, the angle discharge helps direct fluid energy downward and away from the valve body walls, extending the life of the pressure boundary.
Tight Shutoff Capability: Designed for applications where leakage is not an option, the EAS can be configured to provide Class V or VI shutoff. This is achieved through a specialized seat construction that uses controlled compression to protect a PTFE disk between a metal seat and retainer, ensuring a bubble-tight seal.
NACE Compliance for Sour Service: The EAS is built to withstand the rigors of sour gas and oil environments. Materials are typically selected to meet NACE MR0175-2002, with additional options available to comply with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 and MR0103 for superior resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.
Rugged Cage Guiding: A heavy-duty cage provides continuous guiding for the valve plug. This mechanical support is essential for minimizing lateral vibration and reducing mechanical noise, even when the valve is subjected to the high-velocity flows typical of angle-body discharge.
Fugitive Emission Control: The valve is compatible with ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing systems. These systems utilize live-loaded PTFE or Graphite ULF packing to maintain a consistent stem seal, significantly reducing process fluid loss and minimizing maintenance intervals.
Wear-Resistant Trim: Hardened stainless steel trim is standard, providing increased resistance to erosion and mechanical wear. This durable construction ensures that the valve maintains its control precision and shutoff integrity over a long service life.

Ứng dụng chính
Offshore and Onshore Production: Managing high-pressure separator letdown and wellhead control in sour environments.
Erosive Process Fluids: Throttling liquids or gases with entrained particles where an angle flow path reduces body wear.
Space-Constrained Piping: Installations where the valve must also serve as a 90-degree turn in the piping system.
Chemical Injection and Dosing: Precise control of corrosive media requiring high-integrity shutoff to prevent cross-contamination.
