Comprehensive Meter Diagnostics Smart Meter Verification (SMV) Basic comes standard on the 4700, providing automated confidence that the meter is performing within factory specifications without interrupting the process. Additionally, the Zero Verification tool confirms the meter’s calibration and provides clear indications of when a re-zeroing procedure is actually required, preventing unnecessary maintenance.
Real-Time Multi-phase Flow Indication Process control is significantly improved through real-time detection of multi-phase flow events. The 4700 provides immediate alerts when entrained gas or mixed-phase fluids are present, allowing operators to take corrective action to protect product quality and prevent measurement errors.
Safety and Reliability The transmitter is certified SIL2 and SIL3 capable (for both single and multiple meter configurations) per IEC 61508.
