Dual Head Versatility: The Dual Head configuration is designed for applications requiring a 1/2-inch NPT connection or a small flange. Modular and Field-Upgradable: The STG800 series features a modular architecture where the display, communication module, and electronics can be swapped out in the field. This “plug-and-play” capability allows users to upgrade a standard 4-20 mA transmitter to HART, Foundation Fieldbus, or Profibus without removing the sensor from the process.
Advanced Graphics and Local Control: The optional advanced graphics LCD allows operators to view trend charts and bar graphs directly at the transmitter. Three external buttons enable full configuration in the field—even in hazardous areas—without opening the enclosure or using a handheld communicator.
Total Performance and Stability: The STG800 offers a reference accuracy of up to 0.0375% of span and a stability of 0.01% per year for ten years. Integrated temperature compensation ensures that the pressure reading remains accurate despite swings in ambient temperature or process heat.
