Modular Overpressure Protection: The CSB600 can be equipped with various safety modules, including the Type VSX8 Slam-Shut. This device provides an independent layer of protection by automatically cutting off gas flow if downstream pressure exceeds (OPSO) or falls below (UPSO) pre-set limits.

External Pressure Registration: By using an external sensing line, the regulator monitors pressure further downstream from the valve body. This bypasses the turbulence created at the orifice, resulting in much more stable regulation and higher accuracy during high-demand flow cycles.
