Enhanced Configuration via HART Protocol: The addition of the HART protocol allows for convenient setup using the latest FDT/DTM technology. This digital layer means technicians can configure ranges, change sensor types, and view diagnostics remotely from the control room or via a handheld communicator, reducing the need for physical access to the transmitter.
Universal Input Capability: The YTA70 is exceptionally versatile, supporting 17 different input types. This includes 12 types of thermocouples, 2 types of RTDs (Pt100 and Ni100), as well as ohm and DC millivolt signals. This “one-model-fits-all” approach simplifies inventory management and ensures compatibility with almost any existing sensor.
Compact Head-Mount Design: Specifically engineered to fit inside a standard DIN Form B connection head, the YTA70 can be mounted directly on the sensor assembly. This reduces the risk of signal interference associated with long sensor lead wires by converting the signal to a robust 4 to 20 mA current loop right at the source.
Flexible Mounting Options: While optimized for head mounting, the YTA70 is also available with DIN rail mounting accessories. This flexibility allows it to be used inside junction boxes or control cabinets, depending on the physical requirements of the plant.
Advanced Communication Selection: The YTA70 is available in two versions to match your network requirements. The -E version provides stable HART 5 communication, while the -J version offers a selectable HART 5 or HART 7 output, allowing you to take advantage of the latest features in modern host systems.
Reliable Analog and Digital Performance: By converting low-level sensor signals into a 4 to 20 mA DC analog signal with an overlaid digital HART signal, the YTA70 ensures high noise immunity and accurate data transmission over long distances.
