Hygienic Design: The FTL33 features a 316L stainless steel housing with surface roughness options of 0.76 µm or 1.5 µm. It is designed to be fully cleanable, supporting Protection Class IP69k to withstand high-pressure washdowns and steam cleaning.

CIP and SIP Readiness: The sensor is built to endure the extreme temperature cycles of Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) processes (up to 150°C), ensuring long-term reliability without compromising food safety.

IO-Link Connectivity: Integrated IO-Link allows for digital parameter setting and advanced diagnostics. This simplifies the configuration for machine builders and provides transparency into the sensor’s health and switching status.

Media Independence: Like all Liquiphant devices, the FTL33 uses vibronic technology. The switching point remains highly accurate regardless of changes in the liquid’s conductivity, density, or the presence of air bubbles and turbulence.

Self-Monitoring Safety: The device continuously monitors its own frequency and electronics. In the event of a power failure or internal fault, it defaults to a safe switching state, providing a reliable layer of overfill and leakage protection (WHG).

Plug & Play Simplicity: No media adjustment or calibration is required. The sensor works “out of the box” for almost any pumpable liquid, requiring no specialized tools or software for basic operation.
