Technical Characteristics and Performance

  • PTFE-Filled Horn Antenna: The antenna is entirely filled and cladded with PTFE (Teflon). This flush-mounted design prevents process media from sticking or accumulating in the horn, which is critical for maintaining signal integrity in viscous or crystallizing liquids. It also provides a seamless surface that is easy to clean during CIP/SIP cycles.

  • Multi-Echo Tracking Evaluation: Despite potential obstructions like agitators or baffles, the FMR52 uses advanced Multi-Echo Tracking to identify and lock onto the true level signal. This software filters out false reflections, ensuring reliable measurement even in turbulent tanks.

  • Dual Suitability (Aggressive & Hygienic): The FMR52 is unique in its broad certification. It carries WHG overfill prevention for chemical safety, while simultaneously holding ASME BPE, USP Class VI, 3-A, and EHEDG approvals for high-purity life sciences applications.

  • High Dynamic Range: In its standard configuration, the device measures up to 40 meters. For applications with low-reflective media or extreme surface agitation, an “enhanced dynamics” option extends the range to 60 meters, ensuring a stable signal in the most difficult conditions.

  • Heartbeat Technology: This integrated suite enables the device to perform its own health checks. It can detect antenna coating or electronic degradation, allowing for traceable verification without process interruption.

  • HistoROM Data Management: All configuration and diagnostic data are stored on an integrated memory module. This allows for fast commissioning and ensures that if the transmitter head is replaced, all settings are automatically restored to the new unit.
