Technical Characteristics and Enhanced Performance

Extreme Pressure Resilience: Unlike many level technologies, the NMS81 is designed to operate reliably at pressures up to 25 bar (362 psi), making it the ideal choice for pressurized storage spheres and high-pressure chemical reactors.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: Constructed with 316L materials for all process-wetted parts, the NMS81 is specifically designed for sour applications, such as crude oil containing high levels of hydrogen sulfide ( $H_{2}S$ ).
LNG and LPG Optimization: The servo-displacer principle is a best fit for liquefied gas. Because the measurement is mechanical and buoyancy-based, it is completely independent of the dielectric constant ( $dc$ ) of the liquid or the presence of Boil-Off Gas (BOG) in the vapor space.
High-Accuracy Density Profiling: The intelligent servo motor can be programmed to move the displacer through the entire liquid column, providing a precise density profile. This helps detect stratification in large storage tanks and ensures product homogeneity.
Safety Integrity: Developed according to IEC 61508, the NMS81 supports SIL3 safety loops (in homogeneous redundancy), providing maximum protection for overfill prevention and high-level alarms.
