Balanced Plug Efficiency: The ET uses a balanced valve plug design, which equalizes the pressure across the trim. This significantly reduces the actuator force required to operate the valve, allowing for precise modulation with smaller, more economical pneumatic or electric actuators even at high pressure drops.
High-Integrity Sealing: Excellent shutoff is maintained through a sophisticated seal ring system. A backup ring or spring-loading mechanism forces the valve plug seal ring against the cage, while the seat construction protects a PTFE disk between a metal seat and retainer. This combination allows the ET to achieve stringent Class V or VI shutoff ratings.
Rugged Cage Guiding: The valve plug is continuously supported by a heavy-duty cage. This design provides exceptional plug stability, which is critical for reducing vibration and mechanical noise in high-velocity or high-pressure drop applications

NACE and International Standards: The ET series is available in dimensions specified by EN/DIN standards and can be configured with metallurgy that meets NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 and MR0103 for protection against stress-corrosion cracking in sour environments.
