Turbulence Management: The valve features a specially shaped flow ring that guides the throttled stream. This geometry is designed to minimize turbulence and prevent high-velocity fluid from impinging directly on the pipe wall, significantly extending the life of the adjoining pipework.

Optimized Reverse Flow Performance: When operated in reverse flow mode, the V150S keeps the high-velocity “vena contracta” (the point of minimum pressure and maximum velocity) within the flow ring bore. This ensures the exit flow is parallel to the wall, dramatically reducing erosion compared to traditional valve styles.

Integral One-Piece Casting: The entire valve body, including the flanges, is manufactured from a single casting without any welding. This eliminates potential stress points and leak paths associated with welded joints, providing superior pressure-containing integrity.

Simplified Alignment and Installation: The full-flange design allows the valve to be perfectly centered within the pipe flanges. Proper alignment is critical in slurry service; even minor offsets can cause localized turbulence that leads to rapid erosion across the flange faces.
