Type VSX8 Slam-Shut Option: This is a critical safety module. The VSX8 provides independent overpressure (OPSO) or underpressure (UPSO) shut-off. If the downstream pressure exceeds or falls below a set limit, the device “slams” shut and requires a manual reset, preventing hazardous gas conditions.

Tool-Free Maintenance: One of the most practical features for field technicians is that no special tools are required for pressure adjustments or orifice removal. This reduces downtime during commissioning or routine maintenance.

External Pressure Registration: By using a downstream control line (external registration), the regulator senses pressure away from the turbulence of the valve body. This results in much more stable and accurate regulation, especially at higher flow velocities.
